As a speech-language pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), you will play a vital role in helping students with a variety of speech and language needs reach their highest potential. You'll collaborate with educators, special education staff, and families to ensure every student receives the support they need.

Qualifications:

  • Active SLP-CCC credential
  • Prior experience in pediatric or school-based settings
  • Understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Strong communication, assessment, and documentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive educational environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students with articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders
  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive assessments
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans, collaborating with parents and teachers to set student-centered goals
  • Monitor, document, and report student progress as required by district and state guidelines
  • Attend IEP meetings to develop goals and advocate for student needs
  • Manage an assigned caseload, ensuring timely and effective therapy delivery
  • Support and consult with school staff to ensure inclusive practices
