Job Responsibilities
Under general supervision of the Sex Offender Treatment Manager, the Sex Offender Treatment Specialist will be responsible for providing clinical interventions, evaluations, treatment, education, and coordination of aftercare for clients under the supervision of the department. Advocate on behalf of clients to ensure appropriate, timely, and consistent services are provided. Responsible for developing and completing initial treatment plans, maintaining progress notes and assisting in evaluating the effectiveness of the program.
Participate in the development of curriculum and trainings for both offenders and agency staff. Enhance department staff’s awareness and knowledge of sex offender treatment programming and treatment protocols.

A bachelor's degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences and professional experience in human services or social services programs.
Preferred QualificationsAt least one year’s experience facilitating treatment in group settings. Prior experience with telehealth. Working with the adult sex offender population.
