Senior Java Developer

UK resident required with full UK working rights and a commutable distance to Leeds. We cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar Java developer role.
• Proficiency in Java and C#.
• Experience using Visual Studio and IntelliJ
  .
• Knowledge of SQL (DDL, DML, Views, Procedures).
• Familiar with version control (
  GIT
  ), Dev Ops tools,
  XML/XSLT
  , and both SOAP and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and translating business needs into technical solutions.

• ERP integration experience, ideally with Sage or SAP Business One.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC and Azure Dev Ops.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Develop, maintain, and upgrade Java-based applications.
• Support and enhance C# based satellite applications (ERP Connectors, SAP B1 add‑ons).
• Engage in code reviews, documentation, and sprint planning.
• Engage in the testing process and contribute towards future automation strategies.
• Collaborate with the support team to resolve complex bugs and raised tickets.
• Maintain and update third‑party library dependencies (Java JRE, Jetty, Chilkat, nSoftware AS2).
• Use Azure Dev Ops for sprint planning, ticket management, coding, testing, and release cycles.
