Job Type and Status
Only W2, no subcontracting, no sponsorship.
Responsibilities- Perform all phases of application system analysis and design, analyzing system specifications and developing applications to support information systems processes.
- Prepare detailed specifications from which complex programs will be written and design, code, test, debug, document, and maintain these programs.
- Formulate scope and objectives through research to develop or modify complex systems.
- Ensure team members understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions.
- Maintain and modify programs according to specifications; code, compile, and implement application software on schedule.
- Test modified programs, create test files and data, verify logic, debug, and write relevant documentation.
- Analyze production systems, recommend enhancements, and provide instruction to the production support team.
- Research customer issues, determine appropriate resolutions, and coordinate implementation of modifications or enhancements.
- Develop functional design and technical specifications, concept diagrams, and workflow diagrams.
- Strong understanding of applications development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies in mainframe, midrange, and PC/LAN environments.
- Strong analysis, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
- Logical abstract thinking and ability to assimilate project goals and deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Works well under pressure and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of interpersonal skills and team building.
- Familiar with project management concepts.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.
- Strong knowledge of relevant operating systems, programming languages, and development tools.
Minimum required: a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Degree equivalency: 4 years of relevant work experience or 2 years of relevant experience plus an associate's degree.
ExperienceMinimum required: 4 years of application development, systems testing, or other related experience.
Work EnvironmentCustomer‑focused, project‑oriented programming environment. Fast‑paced, multi‑platformed environment that may require 24x7 action and response to support technical business needs.
Schedule & LocationPartial onsite: 3 days a week, Tuesday‑Thursday; remote Monday and Friday. Open to remote within Texas.
Required TechnologiesVue.js, Java, REST APIs, HTML/CSS.

HOST experience such as COBOL.
