The Developer IV is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of complex enterprise applications and systems. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to develop innovative solutions that address business needs while adhering to organizational architecture standards and best practices.

• Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support complex business applications and systems
• Research business requirements and formulate technical solutions to address complex business and operational challenges
• Design, code, test, debug, and maintain enterprise applications while ensuring quality, performance, and scalability
• Evaluate system interdependencies and assess the impact of application changes across related systems
• Implement system enhancements, conversions, and modifications to improve business processes and operational efficiency
• Produce project deliverables and ensure the successful completion of assigned initiatives

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and technical teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives, IT strategies, and enterprise architecture standards
• Participate in post-implementation support activities and ongoing system enhancements
• Assess requirements, alternatives, and risks associated with low- to high-impact initiatives

• Develop test strategies, test data, and test scenarios to validate application functionality
• Perform system testing, integration testing, debugging, and issue resolution
• Verify program logic and ensure applications meet quality and performance expectations
• Create and maintain technical documentation, design specifications, and support materials

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers and analysts
• Serve as an internal consultant and subject matter expert on complex projects and technical initiatives
• Collaborate with systems analysts, developers, and business users to resolve technical issues and implement solutions
• Support project teams by providing technical expertise, recommendations, and leadership when needed

• Minimum six years of application development, systems testing, or related IT experience
• Experience working within large-scale enterprise application environments
• Experience supporting business-critical applications in a fast-paced environment

Strong experience with one or more of the following mainframe technologies

• COBOL
• JCL
• DB2
• IMS
