Location: Columbia
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Create and maintain technical specifications, system documentation, and test plans.
- Design and develop bi-directional REST/JSON APIs supporting nationwide integrations and clearinghouses.
- Build and maintain interfaces with internal and external systems.
- Perform application troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
- Support database development activities, including query optimization and data validation.
- Participate in system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and deployment activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Follow SDLC best practices and established development standards.
- Provide technical recommendations for system improvements, scalability, and performance optimization.
- 5+ years of .NET Development experience
- 3+ years of experience supporting complex Motor Vehicle Systems and/or Court Systems within State Government environments
- 3+ years of experience developing requirements, specifications, and test plans for large-scale enterprise systems
- 3+ years of experience designing and developing bi-directional REST/JSON APIs
- Experience supporting nationwide data integrations and clearinghouse interfaces
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Experience with application design, development, testing, and implementation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, OR equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
