Qualifications:
  • Eligible for School Psychologist certification in South Carolina (out-of-state applicants must meet state eligibility)
  • Deep understanding of South Carolina Special Education laws and practices
  • At least 2 years’ experience working with elementary student populations in school settings
  • Commitment to being onsite for the entirety of the assignment
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive psychological services to elementary school students
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to support student success and special education eligibility
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized student plans
  • Stay current on state laws and best practices in school psychology specific to South Carolina
  • Support crisis intervention and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
