Warehouse Technician-Temporary

Custodial/Maintenance/Custodian.

The Warehouse Technician is responsible for receiving and properly processing and filling orders for all district instructional, food products and custodial supplies and maintains the warehouse inventory system. Duties also include a daily delivery schedule of prepared food and mail. In addition you will be responsible for entering data and updating files on record retention for health, special education and blueprints.

• Develops and continuously refines the schedules of drivers to keep deliveries on time and to resolve schedule conflicts as they arise.
• Insures special delivery requests for such items as risers, chairs, band shells, etc. are delivered in an efficient and timely manner.
• Fills orders from warehouse stock for several different school district departments.
• Responsible for receiving incoming shipments, checks deliveries for proper materials, quantities and paperwork; removes damaged goods for return to vendor.
• Drives truck delivery prepared food and other commodities as well as mail delivery on a daily route.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, plus three to five years warehouse experience preferred.
• Must have strong computer skills for operation of a personal computer, inventory system and word processor.
• One-year experience in truck driving and one year supervisory experience.
