Salary Range: $22.00 To $25.00 Hourly
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Driver to join our team. As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations in a safe and timely manner. You will be required to operate a variety of vehicles, including dump trucks and box trucks, while adhering to DOT regulations and transportation management guidelines. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or B
- Proven experience as a professional driver
- Excellent driving record
- Ability to read maps and follow directions
- Strong attention to detail and safety
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with warehousing and inventory management
- Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems
- Ability to operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment
Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of vehicles, including dump trucks and box trucks, to transport goods and materials to various locations
- Adhere to DOT regulations and transportation management guidelines to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation
Skills:
As a Driver, you will use your skills in truck driving, DOT regulations, transportation management, and map reading on a daily basis. You will also need to have excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with customers and team members. Additionally, you will need to have strong attention to detail and safety to ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition.
Finally, you may use your skills in warehousing and inventory management, as well as your ability to operate a forklift or other warehouse equipment, to assist with loading and unloading goods and materials.
