Lead Non-Emergency Transport Driver -Columbia VA

TCS Mobility is seeking a Lead Non‑Emergency Transport Driver to join our growing team for our VA Columbia location.

• Monitors AM and PM runs to ensure that each vehicle assigned is occupied, notifying the Operation Manager if a driver does not report to work on time or at all.
• Drives any route necessary in the absence of a permanent or substitute driver, or in the absence of available regular drivers, for field trips.
• Knows the routes of the assigned drivers.
• Monitors and evaluates the assigned drivers pre‑ and post‑trip inspections. Bus cleaning, and parking.
• Covers assignments, as needed. Assignments include routes, field trips or other duties related to transportation. These assignments may be changed on a daily basis.
• Assist in the Transportation Office as needed. Report to and drive out of various locations.
• Transport all passengers to their destinations safely and on time.
• Ensuring the safety of all passengers.
• Operating motorized lift (will provide training).
• Maintaining safe and clean vehicle conditions.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Communicating effectively with staff and passengers.
• Remaining professional and respectful to our clients of all ages, gender and race.
• Understand and follow driving laws, ordinances, and regulations.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a clean and active driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT drug test, DOT physical exam, and a criminal background check.
• Excellent customer service skills.

• $20.00 hourly ($15.52 hourly, plus $4.48 Health & Wellness stipend)
