What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students, faculty, and staff to and from university events, activities, and off-campus destinations.
• Operate a motor coach vehicle with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
• Provide courteous, friendly, and responsive service to all passengers.
• Represent the university with professionalism while ensuring a positive travel experience.

Qualifications

Be able to successfully pass a background check, possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, be at least 21 years of age, and possess a currently valid South Carolina Class B driver’s license with a (P) endorsement or the equivalent from a contiguous state, and possess a current DOT medical examination card. Previous experience as a commercial vehicle, school bus, or motor coach driver is preferred.

Position Attributes

Employees in safety-sensitive or security-sensitive positions will be subject to pre-employment and post-employment drug testing in accordance with University policy. Safety/Security Sensitive or Requires a CDL. Hazardous weather category:
Non-Essential.
