Transportation Club Services

Position Overview

This position is part‑time (
less than 30 hours a week
). The Transportation Club Services position focuses on transportation to and from housing off‑island to the Clubhouse, and handling laundry from the Beach Club and Island House to the laundry facility.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license, meet Club driving standards, and be able to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Off‑island transportation to and from employee housing multiple times a day.
• Keep van clean, check oil daily and report mechanical problems.
• Pick up and drop off towels and linen to Club facilities as directed: pick up dirty linens from Island House, Beach Club, cart barn, Racquet Club and deliver to laundry for processing, and deliver clean linens back to Island House and Beach Club.
• Maintain policy to conduct operations safely, prevent injuries, and comply with regulations.
• Promote and adhere to Seabrook Island Club standards.
• Lead by example and promote Seabrook Core Values, Characteristics, Employee Customer Service Motto and Decision Making.
• Complete any other tasks as directed by the Director of Engineering.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Driving experience preferred.
• Skills:
  
  Must be an excellent driver with an excellent driving record.
• Supervisory Responsibilities:
  
  None.
• Equipment:
  Must be able to operate a 15+ passenger van and Club vehicles; must have a valid driver’s license.
• Typical Physical Demands:
  Must be able to work in a sometimes physically and mentally stressful environment, bending, reaching, stooping, pushing and pulling laundry carts, lift 75 lb laundry bag when needed, sit or stand for extended periods, work in extreme temperatures.
