• RCAs case, deliver, and collect mail along a prescribed rural route using a vehicle and provide customers on the route with a variety of services.
• Provide mail security at all times.
• Deliver from the right hand side of the vehicle, even if you must provide one.
• Work indoors and outdoors in all elements of weather: rain, sleet, ice, snow, cold, and heat, and may encounter animals and insects.
• Perform physically demanding tasks requiring moderate to heavy lifting, carrying, prolonged standing, reaching, and walking.
• Follow established safe work methods and procedures.

• Valid state driver’s license.
• Safe driving record and at least two years of unsupervised experience driving passenger cars or larger in the U.S. or its possessions, territories, or U.S. military installations worldwide.
• Ability to provide a vehicle sufficient in size for delivery of mail if an employer-provided vehicle is not assigned; if required to provide your own vehicle, RCAs will receive an Equipment Maintenance Allowance.
• Flexibility with little to no lead time or advance notice of a schedule change.
• Ability to work hours that vary and include holidays and weekends; no guarantee of hours.
