Job Description

Domino's is looking for qualified drivers to staff stores in your area. We are growing rapidly and offer many opportunities for advancement, including management roles.

Delivery Expert

Job Requirements and Duties
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards, and access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
  • Must possess customer service skills and navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and navigate adverse terrain including multi‑story buildings.
  • Have a minimum of the last 2 years licensed driving history in the United States.
    • Must provide documentation of at least 2 years of licensed driving history in the U.S.
  • Must have an unsuspended or uninterrupted driving history of at least 1.5 years during the last 2 years. The suspension cannot be at the start of the 2‑year period.
  • No more than 1 violation and 1 at‑fault accident associated within the last 2 years.
  • No more than 2 violations and 1 at‑fault accident associated within the last 3 years.
  • No more than 3 violations in the last 3 years.
  • No more than 1 at‑fault accident in the last 3 years.
  • Moving citations (e.g., speeding, vehicle safety) count as violations.
    • Seatbelt citations do not count as violations; and
    • Inoperable brake light citations do not count as violations.
  • No distracted driving/inattentive driving violations within the last 3 years.
  • No serious violations allowed in the past 5 years. Typical examples include:
    • Drugs/Alcohol
    • Leaving the scene
    • Failing to report an accident
    • Reckless/careless driving
    • Vehicular homicide
    • Hit and run
    • Speed contest
    • Eluding police
    • Making a false police report
    • Driving while suspended/not licensed
    • Speeding 30 MPH or faster over the posted speed limit

Job Duties for All Team Members
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler. Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility daily.

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions / Skills / Abilities
  • Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).

  • Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes, hands, and fingers to rapidly and accurately execute precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Excellent navigation skills, including reading maps, locating addresses, and navigating adverse terrain.
Work Conditions
  • Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in certain work areas.
  • Sudden changes in temperature, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Fumes from food odors.
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters, including walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing
  • Talking and hearing on telephone.
  • Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position.
  • Walking: Short distances and durations on varied surfaces, including ceramic tile and linoleum; work surfaces height between 36” and 48”.
  • Sitting: Paperwork typically completed at a desk or table.
  • Lifting: Bulk product deliveries (up to 50 pounds) and shelving up to 72”.
  • Carrying: Items up to 30 pounds (e.g., pizza sauce) or three trays of dough (~12 pounds each) over short distances.
  • Pushing / Pulling: Trays on dollies (~24–30”), requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
  • Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder for maintenance tasks.
  • Stooping / Bending: Forward bending at the waist for 30–45 seconds at a time, repeated throughout the day.
