Compensation
  • Average weekly pay: $1430
  • Hourly rate: $26.00 per hour
  • Sign‑on bonus: $1250 at 30 days, $1250 at 90 days
  • Hotel and per diem provided for nights out
  • Paid training
  • Schedule:

    Monday - Friday
  • Start time: 2:30 AM – 3:30 AM
Route & Equipment
  • Deliver to surrounding areas in NC & GA
  • Route type:
    Local and Regional
  • Tractor type:
    Day Cab
  • Trailer types: 48' & 53' Reefer, Flatbed & Tanker
  • Freight:
    No touch, some live unload
  • Flatbed and Reever experience required

Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from the last 3 years
  • Pass DOT physical
  • Pass Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Class A verifiable experience:
    • 9 months within the past 3 years
    • or 2 years within the last 5 years
    • or 5 years within the last 10 years
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures
Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
  • Detect and minimize safety hazards; maintain accurate records and logs
  • Load/unload freight or assist loading/unloading if required by customer
  • Perform other duties as assigned
