Unless otherwise defined by applicable law, any employment relationship with STEVENS TOWING COMPANY, INC. is of an "at-will" nature, which means the employee may resign at any time and STEVENS TOWING COMPANY, INC. may discharge the employee at any time with or without cause.

Stevens Towing Company, Inc. has a full-time position available for a Heavy Marine Equipment Operator with 5 years or more experience in a shipyard environment. This position requires one to have experience in dry docking tugs, barges, and other marine vessels. This position requires the employee to be willing to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required and needed.

This position also requires one to perform pre-use inspection of all equipment operated and perform preventative maintainance to include but not limited to adding fuel, oil, and lubricants, cleaning and changing cables, filters, hoses, belts, fuses, and adjusting brakes, clutches, limits and similar equipment or functions. Also will be required to setup the marine railway and to perform other duties as requested or required.

Required to participate in random drug screens as a condition of employment.

Must have a minimum of 5 years of shipyard experience, a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Card issued by Homeland Security), a valid driver's license, and a passport.

Required to learn safety rules and become familiar with proper usage of safety equipment. Required to comply with all Safety and Pollution Prevention Regulations and Procedures at all times under the direction of Stevens Towing Company, Inc.’s safety policies.
