Responsibilities

Maintain yard truck by doing daily maintenance and safety checks

Report any issues with yard truck

Perform yard checks and maintain trailer inventory

Shuttle trailers with product and/or roll‑stock to warehouse

Properly sign and document all paperwork

Perform trailer movements as directed

Report maintenance and safety issues concerning trailers

Deliver trailers to customers when needed

Check wheels on all trailers put into docks

Operate in a safe manner

Qualifications

The Skills You Will Bring:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have demonstrated the ability to perform each normal duty satisfactory in this classification and all lower classifications in this line of progression. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

License: Employee must have successfully completed the appropriate training programs for the operation of powered industrial trucks and have a CDL.

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
