Logistics Associate – Greer, SC – BMW Plant Spartanburg

Join I.K. Hofmann USA in a Logistics role at the BMW manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include operating forklifts, managing inventory, and supporting the production line.

• Starting pay $23.58/hr day shift, $24.83/hr night shift

• Day shift: 6:45‑7:00 am to 5:25‑5:40 pm
• Night shift: 7:15‑7:30 pm to 5:55‑6:10 am
• Shift schedule depends on location
• Training: 5 shifts of 8 hours/day for 1–2 weeks
• Post‑training: 4 shifts of 10 hours/day/week

• Operate forklifts: stand‑up, sit‑down, VNA, cherry picker, tugger, reach truck, small box truck, pallet jack
• Assist with management and distribution of goods within BMW’s logistics system
• Move and stack parts/pallets, including racks up to 30 ft
• Use cherry picker or reach truck to move large items on shelves
• Scan, pick, sequence, inspect, and transport parts to ensure correct parts reach production line on time
• Perform general warehouse duties as needed

• Work in a fast‑paced environment with problem‑solving and multitasking skills
• Maintain a stationary position throughout shift
• Shift between upright and low stances as required
• Reach overhead as necessary
• Operate machinery while maintaining position
• Move and transport up to 50 lbs unassisted

• 6+ months forklift experience
• Experience using RFID inventory scanners
• Stockroom, warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience is a plus
• Experience using SAP is a plus
• High school diploma or GED
