$21.50 - $24.73 an hour
What You’ll Do as a Material Handler- Reach Truck / Forklift Operator:
- Safely operate reach trucks, forklifts, and other powered industrial equipment
- Load, unload, stage, and transport raw materials and finished products throughout the facility
- Receive inbound shipments and prepare outbound shipments for delivery
- Pick and deliver materials to production areas to keep operations running efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory using a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
- Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Follow all safety, quality, and material handling procedures when working with materials and equipment
- Coordinate with supervisors and production teams to prioritize material movement
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Support daily warehouse and material flow operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Previous warehouse, manufacturing, material handling, forklift, or reach truck experience
- Ability to safely operate or become certified on forklifts and other powered industrial equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, reaching, and loading/unloading materials
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong attention to safety, quality, teamwork, and following written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work 12-hour day or night shifts
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Steel-toe shoes required (ask about our discount options)
