The Warehouse Specialist is a cross-functional team member responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving, stocking, order picking, and inventory auditing.
Job Responsibilities- Receive and inspect inbound shipm ents for accuracy and damage
- Stock inventory into correct locations using scanners
- Pick customer orders accurately and stage for shipping
- Perform routine cycle counts and support physical inventory audits
- Identify inventory discrepancies, root causes of inventory variances, and opportunities for process enhancement
- Maintain inventory accountability, material condition integrity, and documentation accuracy
- Serve as the primary contact for customers and internal stakeholders (procurement, logistics, customer service etc.) at the bonded warehouse
- Communicate and collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure policies and procedures are followed and completed
- Support Kingstree manufacturing and/or logistics activites especially during peak season
- A minimum high school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in warehouse enviroment
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating powered industrial trucks
- Working knowledge of SAP for inventory management
- Proficient in Microsoft software suites (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel etc.)
- Strong attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic work environment by shifiting between different priorities, adjusting work schedule and/or working overtime as needed
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Associate or bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience working in warehouse enviroment
- 3+ hands-on experience of SAP for inventory management
