- Review invoices for accuracy and proper approvals, then enter them for processing and payment.
- Monitor vendor invoice processing for discount opportunities, purchase order and contract issues, and payment discrepancies.
- Process OCR and non-OCR invoices into the system.
- Control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
- Charge expenses to accounts and jobs by analyzing invoices.
- Ensure credit is received for outstanding memos.
- Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
- Research old receipts and credit transactions for write-off.
- Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Accomplish accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Proficient in data entry, MS Excel, and computerized documentation.
- Solid understanding of basic math.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
- Self-driven, motivated and eager to learn with a passion for process improvement.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
