DESCRIPTION:

For the  School Year

Must be willing to work on an as needed basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

Have successfully completed a substitute teacher training course to obtain a WV Substitute Teacher Certification

Must Pass a Background Check

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and deliver lesson plans with the ability to modify accordingly during the school year;
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students;
Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development;
Utilize best practices in daily planning and classroom instruction;
Manage student behavior in the classroom;
Create a positive classroom environment for students to learn in;
Participate in the planning and implementation of non-instructional activities, as needed;
Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues;
Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Hold or be eligible for WV Professional Teaching Certificate, Restricted Substitute Permit, Short-Term Permit or Long-Term Substitute Permit

SALARY:

Salary based on experience and education level per CBOE salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
