The mission of West Virginia Wesleyan College is as follows:
West Virginia Wesleyan College challenges its students to a life-long commitment to develop their intellectual, ethical, spiritual, and leadership potential and to set and uphold standards of excellence.
Develop, implement, and facilitate educational programming and interactive workshops focused on community building, fostering a sense of belonging, and navigating social expectations.
Partner directly with various campus groups and student organizations to assess their current comfort levels regarding community engagement.
Design and deliver tailored interventions to increase the confidence, cohesion, and comfortability of both the groups and their individual members.
Support the planning, promotion, and execution of large-scale community outreach initiatives and educational events centered around belonging, civic engagement, and student integration.
Recruit, train, and coordinate a dedicated team of student ambassadors to champion campus programming, amplify outreach efforts, and drive peer-to-peer accountability and engagement.
Foster social and community expectations through the development of common language, culture, and community standards.
