Job Description

We are seeking a Robotics Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in industrial automation and robotics. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical design, robotic programming, PLC/HMI development, machine vision integration, and automation system design. This role involves designing, programming, validating, and optimizing robotic workcells while ensuring compliance with industry safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design custom automation cells and End-of-Arm Tooling (EOAT) using Solid Works.
  • Perform robot reachability studies, payload analysis, and system feasibility assessments.
  • Program and optimize 6-axis industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, etc.).
  • Develop and troubleshoot PLC and HMI applications for automated systems.
  • Create, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical schematics and industrial control systems.
  • Integrate and calibrate machine vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) for inspection and robotic guidance.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement safety solutions in accordance with ANSI/RIA, ISO 10218, and ISO 13849 standards.
  • Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve automation efficiency and productivity.
Required Skills
  • Strong mechanical design experience using Solid Works and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with industrial robot programming (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience with PLC/HMI programming.
  • Knowledge of machine vision systems (Cognex/Keyence).
  • Electrical schematic design and troubleshooting.
  • Robot reachability analysis, payload calculations, and system validation.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 3–5 years of experience in robotics, industrial automation, or manufacturing automation.
