This assignment includes a weekly blended rate of $3,800, based on five 8‑hour day shifts. This role is ideal for an experienced IR Tech proficient in assisting with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures in a high‑acuity clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities of the IR Technologist

Assist radiologists with IR procedures including angiography, embolization, abscess drains, PICC lines, biopsies, and vascular interventions
Operate fluoroscopy units, imaging equipment, and IR tools safely and efficiently
Provide sterile‑field support as scrubbed technologist
Monitor patient condition and communicate effectively with clinical teams
Prepare procedure suites, equipment, and supplies
Maintain meticulous documentation and image records
Follow radiation‑safety protocols and facility compliance standards

Requirements of the IR Technologist

ARRT certification with RT(R) required; VI or CV specialty strongly preferred
West Virginia licensure (if applicable)
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years’ recent Interventional Radiology experience
