American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting using Epic and Siemens equipment.

• Acute care hospital Cardiac Cath Lab with 2 procedure suites
• Averages 5–10 cases per day
• Common procedures include diagnostic left and right heart caths, PCI, IABP, and temporary pacemaker placement
• Rad Techs scrub and assist physicians; RNs circulate, sedate, and complete documentation
• Uses Siemens equipment and software;
  Epic EMR
• 5 days per week, Monday–Friday; start and stop times vary based on case volume and scheduling
• Mandatory rotating call coverage for weeknights, weekends, and holidays; up to 7 call days per 4-week schedule
• Call rotation runs Monday 7:00 AM to the following Monday 7:00 AM; weekend call covers Friday after hours through Monday 7:00 AM
• 30-minute call response time required
• Floating is not required, though optional opportunities may be available for those with relevant experience
• Surgical attire provided by the facility
• First-time travelers will be considered with strong, relevant experience
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine facility must have been separated from the system for at least 2 years before being eligible
• Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than 1 cumulative year; after reaching the 1-year mark, a 2-year break is required before returning
• Department orientation consists of general hospital orientation plus up to 1 week (approximately 36 hours) of department-specific computer and unit training
• Candidates with prior perm employment at the facility must have been separated for at least 2 years before returning through an agency
• 2 references required for consideration: 1 supervisor reference and 1 peer or additional supervisor reference; if the candidate worked a permanent position in the last 12 months, one supervisor reference must be from that facility
• A skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
• Copies of certifications and a Driver's License are required for consideration

• Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab or Rad Tech experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT certifications required
• Sterile technique proficiency required
• Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Driver's License required for consideration
• License required if applicable
