Staff Accountant

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization. This role is responsible for assisting with month-end close activities, account reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and maintaining accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career accounting professional looking to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist with preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules
• Analyze financial data and investigate discrepancies
• Process employee expense reports
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation schedules
• Support internal and external audit requests
• Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Assist with special projects and process improvement initiatives
