Officer In Charge Of Civil Status And Elections
The community of over 3,500 inhabitants is looking for an officer in charge of civil status records, election services, and various administrative tasks requiring knowledge in funeral regulations and local government operations. Main duties include:
- Civil Status:
Establishing marriage and PACS records, receiving declarations and establishing civil status records, maintaining civil status registers, processing requests on the COMEDEC platform, transmitting data to INSEE. - Elections:
Managing and organizing elections and related procedures for registrations and deletions. - Cemetery:
Monitoring concessions, preparing and issuing funeral permits, ensuring compliance with cemetery regulations. - Public Reception:
Welcoming and providing information to the public on-site or by phone.
Occasional duties include:
- Drafting municipal ordinances (road maintenance, kiosks, relocation, construction, etc.)
- Managing administrative postings in conjunction with other service agents
- Managing military census files
- Substituting for the head of the Urban Planning Department
- Participating in various tasks to support the functioning of administrative services in general
Knowledge, experience, and skills required:
- Knowledge indispensable for the position:
- Mastery of civil status and election regulations
- Understanding of the functioning of local governments and population services
- Knowledge of administrative procedures
- Knowledge that can be acquired or consolidated internally:
- Understanding of urban planning, military census, beverage sales, road maintenance, public space management...
- Technical skills:
- Mastery of public reception techniques
- Proficiency in spelling and writing
- Mastery of office software and email (Word, Excel, Outlook...) and knowledge of specialized software (Elections, Civil Status, COMEDEC, REU, IGREC, INSEE, Cemetery...)
- Ability to adapt work organization according to priorities and workload variations
- Ability to handle urgency

Senior Administrative Assistant First Class, Senior Administrative Assistant Second Class, Clerk
