Responsibilities
- Working closely with Clients, Project Manager(s) and Business Lead(s) in gathering, understanding, documenting requirements, processes, functionalities and features.
- Documenting and translating business functions and processes.
- Create and manage functional specification documents from abstract requirements from clients and stakeholders, translate business requirements into technical requirement specs for the software development team.
- Ability to grasp customer’s business requirements and needs, prepare process mapping documents, deliver satisfaction on alignment of tech team with business needs.
- Actively managing changes of the requirements to deliver them in a consistent and timely manner.
- Analyze business processes, existing systems and requirements and propose functional design.
- Creation of initial scope and detailed software requirement specification documents.
- Creation of wireframes and design mockups, familiarity with tools like Figma / Balsamiq etc.
- Deliver Presentations on proposed approaches, demos, etc. to clients and getting sign-offs.
- Liaise with development and testing teams during all stages of software development lifecycle to provide necessary support in understanding requirements.
- Supporting delivery team in alignment of technical solution with business needs; ensure teams are aligned with the business objectives.
- Participating in, and where necessary leading, functionality testing and user acceptance testing.
- Attention to detail and ability to contribute on multiple projects in parallel.
- Requirements Communications, Project Management, Microsoft Office, Wire framing.
- Gather and document business requirements in selected portfolio of projects.
- Strong educational background from reputed engineering and management schools with 4-8 years of experience
- Certifications in Business Analysis or Project Management like CBAP, PMP are preferred
- Knowledge of modern tools to gather business requirements
- Strong working experience in Microsoft tools (Excel, Power point etc.) including good presentation skills.
- Fluency in using MS Tools (Teams, SharePoint, Excel)
- Ability to create and execute UAT test scenarios
- Any Process mapping tool – Draw.io / Lucid charts / MS Visio etc.
- Solution Consultant
- Working closely with the project manager(s) and business lead(s) in documenting new changes required including new harmonised processes, functionalities and features.
- Documenting and translating business functions and processes.
- Gathering, documenting and mapping business requirements, initially at a high level so they can be clearly presented to Steering Groups and business leads and then translated into low level requirements which will be shared with business SME’s and maintained through the life of the project.
- Participating in, and where necessary leading, functionality testing and user acceptance testing.
- Supporting the business with data cleansing and data quality improvements.
- Analysing, documenting and communicating testing results to project stakeholders.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Comfortable with gathering, and providing 360 degree feedback, for self and project stakeholders.
- Supporting the project manager with plans and RAID logs and deputising for holidays or other absences.
- Regular 121 updates will need to be conducted with the project sponsor, key stakeholders as well as business SME’s allocated to the project.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in business analysis or Project management or Business process automation.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders positively and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced technical skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
