Staffing Coordinator​/CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant

Job Summary

Position:
Staffing Coordinator / CNA (Part‑time, 24 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts)

Facility: GSS SD Tyndall Center, Tyndall, SD, 2304 Laurel St, Tyndall, SD 57066, USA.

• Adjust and maintain staff work schedules using department staffing policies.
• Process scheduling requests and negotiate staffing needs with leaders and directors.
• Anticipate immediate and future staffing needs, resolving issues through broadcasts, PRN staff, or reallocations.
• Track, document, and report staffing data to directors for analysis.
• Communicate and negotiate with employees, leaders, and department directors to meet scheduling requirements.
• Use computer applications (email, scheduling, Excel, payroll) to manage scheduling information.
• Work effectively under interruptions, stress, and with large interactive groups.

• Postsecondary education or equivalent training in a health care or business related field; associate's degree preferred.
• Experience with staffing issues or working with people is desirable.

Salary Range: $16.00 – $25.50 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
