Job Description
Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager at Stratas Foods leads the implementation of Stratas Performance System (SPS) and drives improvement practices across two manufacturing facilities in Hillside and Englewood, NJ. The role reports to the Senior Manager of Continuous Improvement and involves coordinating daily and long‑term improvement activities, mentoring teams, and ensuring a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEducation: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; 8+ years of continuous‑improvement experience or equivalent. Advanced degree (MBA, Master’s) preferred with 7+ years of CI experience.
Experience: 10+ years in F&B manufacturing or similar industry; 7+ years leading multi‑site improvement initiatives.
Skills &
Certifications:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, ERP systems, downtime reporting, and maintenance software. Lean or Six Sigma Black Belt (or higher) and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Competencies:
- Analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to prioritize, plan, and budget.
- Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI, and ERP systems.
- Strong communication, both oral and written, with experience challenging assumptions and driving impactful execution.
- Self‑directed with sound judgment and professionalism.
Physical: Mostly sitting or standing, with occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Sensory: Clear verbal and written communication; active listening and attention to detail.
Mental/Reasoning: Prioritization, time management, and adaptability; independent and team orientation; discretion and mandatory judgment.
Pay Range: $ – $ with a 10% annual bonus incentive.
