Multifamily & Student Housing (Wood-Framed Construction). An established design-build firm based in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its team. The company has built a strong reputation for quality, collaboration, and delivering impactful communities throughout the region. We are looking for a builder at heart—someone who genuinely loves construction and takes pride in seeing projects move from concept to completion.

• Manage projects from preconstruction through final completion
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
• Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and procurement
• Coordinate closely with in-house design teams in a design-build delivery model
• Provide leadership to Superintendents, Project Engineers, and field teams
• Maintain strong communication with ownership groups and stakeholders
• Monitor cost control, change management, and project forecasting
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager
• Current experience working for a General Contractor preferred
• Strong background in multifamily and/or student housing projects
• Experience with wood-framed construction required
• Construction Management or equivalent degree preferred but not required
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Passion for construction and a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset
