This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Estimator at Pro Framing, Inc., located in Hartford, SD. The Junior Estimator will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project documents, specifications, and blueprints. Responsibilities include collaborating with project teams, gathering cost data, preparing bids, maintaining records, and communicating with vendors and subcontractors. The role also involves staying updated on material costs, labor rates, and market trends to ensure precise and competitive estimates.
Qualifications- Proficiency in blueprint reading, cost estimation, and understanding construction specifications
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with project teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Familiarity with estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience in commercial or multifamily construction is a plus
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred
- Willingness to work on-site in Hartford, SD
