You will lead active erosion control operations, taking ownership of field activities from initial mobilization through project completion. This role gives you the authority to lead crews, coordinate daily work, and ensure erosion control projects are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You will work on construction-related erosion control and stabilization projects throughout the region while playing a key role in the company's continued growth.
HowYou Will Make An Impact
- Direct daily field operations for erosion control and construction-site stabilization projects, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Lead and coordinate field crews performing erosion control, sediment control, drainage and site stabilization work.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of erosion control measures such as silt fence, erosion control blankets, wattles, sediment barriers, inlet protection and related systems.
- Monitor active projects and field conditions to identify erosion, drainage, or stabilization issues and take corrective action as needed.
- Coordinate equipment, materials and crew logistics to keep projects moving efficiently and minimize downtime.
- Maintain clear communication with project managers, customers, contractors and field personnel regarding project progress and field conditions.
- Maintain accurate daily job logs, equipment maintenance records, material usage and other required project documentation.
- 5 to 10+ years of leadership experience in erosion control, environmental construction, stormwater management, landscaping/site stabilization or related field operations.
- Proven ability to lead field crews and manage multiple projects or crews simultaneously.
- Hands‑on knowledge of erosion and sediment control practices and construction-site stabilization methods.
- Experience operating or working around construction and landscaping equipment.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills needed for active field management.
- Valid Driver's License and the absolute willingness to travel as required by the business.
- Demonstrated track record of maintaining detailed field records and maintenance logs.
- Possession of a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or the active willingness to obtain one.
- Experience overseeing specialized erosion control and site stabilization applications.
