Job Description

Velocity is seeking a Full-Time Debt Settlement Liaison/Customer Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Making inbound/outbound contact via email and/or phone to debt settlement companies/consumers.
  • Setting up payment plans for consumers who self-pay on our payment portal.
  • Handles inquiries from debt settlement companies involving identification of accounts as well as negotiating acceptable settlement plans.
  • Respond to debt settlement companies/consumer inquiries within an established timeframe. Inquiries include but are not limited to processing payments, drop notices, negotiations or general account inquiries.
  • Locate and contact debtors to inquire of their payment plans.
  • Handles questions, disputes and complaints.
  • Confirming client's information and payments agreements.
  • Represent the company in a customer service role in dealing with debt settlement companies, clients and consumers.
  • Documenting all communication and actions.
  • Performing general office duties.
  • Handling customer service/collection calls.
  • Other duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Superior customer service and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in collections a plus.
