A school district in Fort Pierre, SD is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to support the diverse needs of its student population. This role involves working closely with educators, parents, and students to provide psychological assessments, develop intervention plans, and promote a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and intervention services to support student well-being and academic success.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expert recommendations.
- Assist with crisis intervention and behavioral support strategies.
- Travel as necessary to different school sites within the district to provide services.
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain detailed documentation.
- Flexibility to travel between schools as required.
