Position HighlightsPart Time – Benefit Eligible (working at least 64 hours per pay period)
Work Shift:
Day Shift (8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
Accountable for staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, facilitator, change agent and a leader in the area of support. Develops nursing expertise and fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced-based clinical practice. This occurs through the facilitation of the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation and evaluation of competency assessment, and continuing education.
What you will do- Provides staff development expertise as an educator, consultant, and facilitator for clinic, hospital, and long term care.
- Supports the development of the nursing staff and fosters empowerment through knowledge to achieve excellence through the delivery of evidenced-based clinical practice. This occurs through the facilitation of the educational process through assessment, development, planning, implementation, and evaluation of competency assessment, and continuing education.
- Serves as a resource in the development, implementation and evaluation of clinical protocols and practice management guidelines essential to assure compliance with care standards.
- Collaborates with the director/manager to develop and implement an education and orientation plans.
- Assists in compiling and presenting optimal care standards.
- Assists with community based education.
- Duties as assigned.
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing - an active license in the state of practice upon hire.
- 3-5 years of experience
- Bachelors of Science (BSN)
