The Fondation Vincent de Paul operates four missions in Alsace and Lorraine in establishments approved or authorized by public authorities to serve the sick, children, elderly people, and those in precarious situations. With more than 1000 accompaniments in Bas-Rhin and Moselle, the child sector establishments and services of the Fondation Vincent de Paul help young people grow in a structured environment through interdisciplinary, diversified support, from boarding to home.

550 professionals welcome and accompany children and adolescents on a daily basis, in the following fields: psychological disorders, written and oral language disorders, intellectual disability, psychiatric disorders, child protection, and judicial protection of youth. The Institut thérapeutique éducatif et pédagogique (ITEP) Vincent de Paul welcomes children with psychological disorders, conduct and behavior disorders within its structures.

The ITEP Vincent de Paul is recruiting for its Lettenbach site, 1 day care educator (M/F)

Full-time permanent position

In reference to the values of the Fondation Vincent de Paul, the day care educator (M/F) accompanies daily life and the child in the development of their socialization, integration, and insertion capabilities on the basis of collective and individual accompaniments.

He/she will individually and collectively accompany young people in the elaboration of their personal projects.

He/she will accompany young people in class as a school educator and work in tandem with the teacher or alone.

He/she will develop and implement individual and small group educational projects (creative workshops, manual workshops, sports activities).

He/she will accompany young people during inter-site trips.

He/she will cover for other staff within the service.

Annualization of working time
- Organization of working time mainly during the week on daytime hours.

Partially aligned vacation periods with school holidays.

Appetite for interdisciplinary teamwork and "living with - doing with" in the context of daily accompaniment.

Knowledge of the population welcomed and of the social and medical-social environment appreciated.

Relational, adaptation, analysis, and reflection capacities necessary.

Driving license B desired.

Graduated in ES, ME, EJE, sports educator.

Non-graduate accepted.

As an employee in the medical-social sector, you will be subject to a B2 criminal record check in accordance with Article L.133-6 of the Code of Social Action and Families, modified by Law No.  of April 8, 2024 - Article 16.
