Paraprofessional - ECC & Elementary

Roscoe Collegiate ISD is accepting applications for anticipated paraprofessional openings serving students at:

• Early Childhood Center (ECC) – 3-year-old program through Kindergarten

• Roscoe Elementary – Grades 1–5

We are seeking caring, dependable, and student-focused individuals who enjoy working with children and contributing to a collaborative school environment. Specific assignments will be determined based on campus and student needs.

• Providing instructional and classroom support under the direction of certified staff

• Working with individual students and small groups

• Providing targeted academic support and teacher-directed interventions to reinforce identified skills

• Assisting with progress monitoring and collecting student data as directed

• Reinforcing classroom instruction, routines, and expectations

• Supporting students academically, socially, and behaviorally

• Assisting teachers with classroom activities and daily routines

• Supervising students during arrival, dismissal, transitions, lunch, recess, and other school activities

• Collaborating effectively with teachers, administrators, and other staff

• Performing other duties as assigned based on campus and student needs

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Meet applicable requirements for paraprofessional employment

• Ability to work effectively with children from early childhood through elementary age

• Ability to provide consistent support to individual students and small groups

• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

• Dependable, patient, flexible, and willing to learn

• Ability to maintain student confidentiality and follow district policies and procedures

• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not required
