Sentinel Federal Credit Union is hiring a friendly, dependable Teller to join our team. As a Teller, you'll be one of the first people our members interact with, helping them with everyday financial transactions while providing exceptional service and building lasting relationships.

Pay Range

$/hour for candidates without teller experience (we will fully train the right person!)

What You’ll Do
  • Process member transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, and cash advances
  • Balance and maintain your cash drawer in accordance with Credit Union policies and procedures
  • Assist members with account maintenance requests and updates
  • Answer member questions in person and over the phone while providing exceptional service
  • Identify opportunities to recommend additional Credit Union products and services that may benefit members
  • Process wires, ACH paperwork, money orders, cashier's checks, and other financial transactions
  • Monitor transactions for accuracy, security, and compliance with applicable regulations
  • Support branch operations by participating in audits, dual-control functions, and operational procedures
  • Build positive relationships with members while creating a welcoming and professional experience
  • Participate in training, meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities
Who You Are
  • At least 18 years old with a valid driver's license preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Previous cash handling experience preferred
  • Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Comfortable learning new systems, procedures, and financial products
  • Able to sit, stand, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds as needed
