Job Summary

Responsible for supporting growth and strategic initiatives for merger and acquisition (M &

A) transactions. Provides support across all phases of the M & A life cycle, with particular responsibility on qualitative, financial and valuation analyses. This role serves as a member of the strategy and development team and will be part of a team driving growth and strategic initiatives providing transactional support across all quantitative and financial phases of the M&A life cycle for the organization’s transactions.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements Primary Responsibilities
  • Provides analytical financial and valuation modeling expertise on the evaluation of growth initiatives, including de novo service line opportunities, acquisitions, partnerships, divestitures, and other growth opportunities.
  • Understands and contributes to all transaction legal documents in partnership with senior team members and legal partners.
  • Supports cross-functional teams in key areas of the transaction including financial analysis, due diligence, review of transaction documents, and transition and integration planning.
  • Communicates with and prepares transaction deliverables for key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Works in a matrix organization and promotes teamwork within and across the organization by maintaining positive relationships and utilizing effective problem-solving skills.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree
Experience
  • Three years’ experience in the areas of strategic project management and/or mergers and acquisitions
  • Experience in investment banking, corporate development, or strategic finance. Ideally, from environments such as investment banks, valuation firms, or strategic advisory roles
  • Background in financial/valuation analysis.
  • Experience performing financial modeling, valuation work, or strategic advisory analysis is highly preferred
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skillset. Demonstrated ability to build and interpret complex financial models is a key requirement
Physical Requirements
  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
  • Rare climbing.
