Job DescriptionThe municipal police officer carries out the necessary prevention missions to maintain public order, safety, security, and cleanliness. They also ensure a close relationship with the population. This includes vigilance and prevention in matters of maintaining public order, tranquility, safety, and cleanliness. Research and recording of offenses. Writing and transmission of professional documents. Reception and relationship with the public. Operational and organizational permanence of the municipal police service.

- KNOWLEDGE:
Knowing the police powers of the mayor and the attributions of the administrations as well as the powers and attributions of the security and justice services. Knowing the actors and stakeholders in security and prevention. Applying techniques for neutralizing dangerous weapons and animals. Applying communication, conflict management, mediation techniques as well as techniques of arrest, investigation, and sampling. Mastering the functioning of public administrations and establishments, instances, processes, and decision-making circuits.
Applying techniques and communication tools. Knowing and applying techniques for conflict resolution and mediation.
- KNOW-HOW:
Applying and controlling the respect of the police powers of the mayor in their area of intervention. Informing the public preventively of the regulations in force. Collecting information, transmitting it to the hierarchy and following up on the results. Quickly analyzing a situation or unforeseen events. Reporting, in writing or orally, to the superior authority of the events that occurred during the service and the measures taken.
Establishing and writing activity reports, mission reports of islanding and prevention. Developing information and dialogue with the population. Applying the instructions aimed at maintaining the activity and safety of the premises, the agents of the service and the public welcomed. Organizing technical and human resources to ensure the continuity of the service. Leading, monitoring, and controlling the activities of the agents.

36 hours weekly, hours adapted to the necessities of service (day, evening, weekend if necessary) - 25 annual leave days + 2 days of fractionation + 6 days of RTT
