Job Description
Performs full range of duties related to processing patient information for visits which may include: reception, registration, charge capture and charge entry, appointment scheduling, medical records management and telephone management. Responsible for accurate and timely input of collected information into the hospital information systems. Provides assistance and support for staff and providers by acting as a Lead in the office on off-shifts and/or in the absence of an Office Coordinator;
lead trainer for new and existing staff; manages patient flow to assure the highest level of patient centered care and operational efficiency.

Pay Range: $20.30- $26.87
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job’s compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Qualifications
Job Requirements
- Education:
High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience. - Experience:
Three years previous office experience; medical office experience preferred. - License/Certification
Required:

Ability to use various hospital information systems (which may include HBOC, IDX, Imagecast, eRecord, CIS, Raintree, Quicklink, PC Easy, etc.);
Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel experience is highly recommended; ICD9/CPT coding is desirable.
