An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced occupational therapist with a focus on school settings. This position is designed for the  school year and offers a unique schedule that promotes work-life balance while meeting the needs of students across multiple districts.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and virtual meeting platforms.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.

• Provide occupational therapy services to students with varied needs, including birth to 3 and K-12 caseloads.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
• Attend and participate in IEP meetings, utilizing virtual platforms for convenience.
• Manage and prioritize caseloads effectively, providing services in two schools daily.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
• Support and guide Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in daily activities.
