Plus, a $1.00 shift differential for the 2:30 p.m.
- 11 p.m. shift, $1.50 shift differential for the 10:30 p.m.
- 7 a.m. shift, and all weekend shifts receive an extra $1.00 differential.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) carries out individual training, behavior management, and therapy programs from a variety of therapeutic disciplines to ensure that each person served at the South Dakota Developmental Center (SDDC) will develop to their fullest potential and maintains a structured and healthy environment designed to enhance the well-being of persons served while providing continual guidance regarding life skills, academic skills, and work skills to ensure appropriate social interaction.
Part-time positions with full benefits and compressed schedule are also available.

- provide work direction to staff regarding methods to assist people with developmental disabilities as needed;

This position is eligible for Veterans’ Preference per ARSD 55:10:02:08.
