Monday, March 2, 2026 at 8 am. The human resources position is a dual role with insurance billing duties.
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefit administration, and compliance with labor laws. The Human Resources Manager works in all areas related to the employment-related matters of the Agency and human service affairs. Provides insurance billing services for the organization including submitting claims, processing insurance payments, adjusting client accounts, and submitting any applicable secondary or tertiary billing.
Maintains client insurance charts and completes other necessary miscellaneous paperwork required by insurance companies.
- Recruitment and Onboarding:
Assist Executive Director with the hiring process by posting job openings, screening resumes, setting up interviews, and guiding new hires through the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition into the company. - Manage ongoing staff trainings.
- Employee Relations:
Act as a point of contact for employees, addressing their concerns, managing grievances, and fostering a positive workplace culture. - Serves as a link between the Executive Director and employees handling questions, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Advise the Executive Director on matters related to employment and potential liability.
- Benefits Administration:
Oversee employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, ensuring compliance with regulations and effective communication to employees. - Analyzes and modifies compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
- Manage process for all resignations and terminations including notification to insurance carrier regarding COBRA.
- Policy Implementation:
Develop, update, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and organizational standards. - Makes decisions within a framework of policies set by the Board of Directors and existing laws and regulations.
- Maintains current knowledge of organizational policies and procedures and federal and state policies and directives.
- Performance Management:
Support performance review processes, including setting up evaluation criteria and assisting managers in conducting reviews. - Provide input to supervisors on the process for progressive discipline and involuntary employment terminations.
- Manage the details of all resignations and terminations, including all necessary paperwork, return of all agency property and exit interview.
- Assist with gathering, organizing, and completing grants.
- Credentialling of agency personnel.
- Work directly with clinicians and third-party payers to complete necessary forms for reimbursement based on clinical degree or licensure. Ensure documents/agreements are maintained in good standing.
- Billing Operations and Claims Management:
Implementing and managing insurance billing.
