Team members contribute to a collaborative, agriculture-focused environment where innovation and practical solutions help drive long-term farm success.
- Serve as the first point of contact for managers and employees with questions on HR policies, procedures and employment practices.
- Partner with leaders to address employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, investigations, and appropriate disciplinary actions.
- Advise leaders and employees on leave of absence programs and workplace accommodations, including FMLA, state leave programs, ADA accommodations, and workers' compensation.
- Partner with Leave Administrator to ensure timely and seamless case management.
- Support employment changes together with managers and the recruiting and staffing team, including promotions, demotions, transfers, and compensation adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities.
- Contribute to a positive employee experience and inclusive workplace culture.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Business Administration or applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-2 years of prior experience in Human Resources, preferably in Manufacturing or Agriculture
- Strong uderstanding of federal and state employment law.
- Ability to build relationships, and willingness to coach employees and managers are various levels.
- Good communication, problem-solving and conflict management skills.
