Job Summary

The Healthcare Transformation Center (TC/HTC) Technology Manager role involves supporting the core infrastructure that drives CDW solution development projects within Healthcare Transformation Centers. This is achieved by collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders, as well as technology partners, to deploy and support foundational infrastructure. The aim is to facilitate growth within the healthcare segment and position CDW as a preferred partner in the market.

The role includes assisting the Healthcare Transformation Center team at CDW in providing a robust technology foundation upon which additional strategic solutions are developed with our clinical and technology partners. The foundational technologies can and will be at times solutions that will be documented and marketed to CDW clients across verticals.

What you will do
  • Project Management:
    Collaborate in overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of technology projects
  • Team Management:
    Leading and managing IT staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
  • Manage a team of dotted line coworkers from groups in CDW Integrated Technology Solutions and Digital Velocity teams to implement and support technical infrastructure that support all CDW TCs
  • System Management:
    Ensuring the efficient operation, security, and reliability of IT systems
  • Budget Management:
    Collaborating with TC team in managing the IT budget and resources effectively
  • Staying Updated:
    Keeping abreast of new technologies and trends and evaluating their potential inside the TCs and for clients
  • Troubleshooting and Problem Solving:
    Identifying and resolving technical issues and challenges
  • Communication:
    Effectively communicating technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Compliance:
    Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and security standards
  • Partnership:
    Develop strong working relationships and work closely with additional internal teams and partners
  • Pro-actively identifies training, certifications and development needs as required for personal development
  • CDW Healthcare Transformation Centers - Assist with Management and Oversight
  • Attends Customer and Partner TC meetings, business reviews, and industry days, as needed
  • Coordinate partner technology deployments and ongoing support in the centers
  • Coordinate with TC leads and other areas within CDW to develop the solution package to include: services, logistics and other capabilities, as appropriate, for solutions selected as CDW offerings related to foundational technology advancements deployed in centers
  • Coordinate with TC Project coordinator and TC Operations Manager
  • Articulates value proposition to sellers, partners and customers
