Position: Systems Administrator II with Security Clearance
Location: Ellsworth Air Force Base

Job Summary:

Join our team as a System/Network Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining government networks in an operational ready state. You will play a vital role in providing real-time solutions to computer and communication issues, performing maintenance and upgrades, and enhancing the capabilities of government networks. This position requires a Top Secret (TS) clearance and a COMPTIA Security+ certification.

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma supplemented by ongoing technical training, certification, and at least 2 years of work experience.
Eligibility for TS/SCI clearance. Applicants will undergo the necessary process with the DoD Adjudication Facility.
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification. Must possess either CompTIA Sec+ or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Current state driver's license.
Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience maintaining C4

ISR networks, systems, and applications.
Excellent communication skills in a 24/7 team environment.
Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), and Domain Name Systems (DNS) in a mixed Windows/UNIX environment.
Familiarity with UNIX or LINUX integration within a Windows environment.
Strong understanding of network topology, standards, and hardening practices.
Knowledge and skills for managing diverse networks, hardware, and applications.
Proficiency in using MS Office suite for generating reports, tracking matrices, briefs, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

Install and provide Tier I and II level support for multiple networks, systems, hardware, and applications under general supervision.
Identify and resolve network, hardware, and application outages.
Utilize knowledge repository for efficient resolution and document outages and solutions for future reference.
Contribute to the design, installation, and administration of supported systems.
