Property & Casualty Insurance Agent​/Office Administrator

Job Description

We are looking for a organized, self-motivated Property & Casualty Insurance Agent to join our small team in Sioux Falls. In addition to serving clients and writing insurance policies, you will handle basic daily office operations—including running payroll and paying office bills.

This is a great fit for someone licensed in P&C who enjoys sales and client service, but also likes the stability of managing office financials.

• Insurance Sales & Service:
  • Quote, write, and service P&C policies (home, auto, commercial, etc.).
  • Handle policy renewals, changes, claims intake, and billing questions.
  • Cross-sell existing clients and build relationships in the Sioux Falls community.
• Office & Financial Management:
  • Process simple payroll for yourself and small office staff on schedule.
  • Pay recurring office bills, vendor invoices, and utilities on time.
  • Keep track of basic expenses and order office supplies as needed.

• Active South Dakota Property & Casualty Insurance License (or ability to transfer/obtain prior to start).
• Experience with P&C insurance sales or agency customer service.
• Familiarity with basic payroll/bookkeeping software (e.g., Quick Books, Gusto, ADP).
• Strong organizational skills, honesty, and attention to detail.
